Pickled Cabbage

This side dish is the perfect way to get good probiotics into your meals! The best part is, you can use your favorite vegetables with the same recipe, just swap out the cabbage.

I personally love cabbage -for the taste and for the benefits.

Waistline Trimming:

Since cabbage is packed with so many beneficial vitamins, minerals, and fiber, it's a great way to feel full without feeling groggy. Cabbage is also extremely low in calories and very high in nutrients - so win win. It will leave feeling full and satisfied.

Detoxification:

Cabbage is great for detoxification, which means it purifies the blood and removes toxins, primarily free radicals and uric acid. They are the primary causes of rheumatism, gout, arthritis, skin diseases, eczema, digestive diseases, and a host of other inflammatory imbalances.

Radiant Skin:

Cabbage is high in Vitamin C and many different kinds of antioxidants. Antioxidants play a major role in skin health and the general toning and improvement of the body in response to the aging process. Free radicals can be an underlying cause of wrinkles, skin discoloration, spots, and many other conditions. Therefore, the antioxidants from the cabbage can cause a turn-around in your aging processes, leaving your skin feeling fresh!
