Last night, I was craving a gooey, chocolate dessert - and there were only limited amount of ingredients in my pantry. So I decided basic was best and threw some ingredients in a pot hoping for a satisfying sweet treat. Luckily - it worked. Plus oatmeal is SO good for you - there is no need for any guilt. Loaded with fiber, protein, and antioxidants, it's great for lowering cholesterol and maintaining balanced blood sugar levels. This is also great for a breakfast on the go!
Breakfast or dessert? You decide.
1/2 cup of dry oatmeal 1 cup dairy free milk (I like cashew or organic soy) 1 TBS coconut flakes 1 tbs coconut palm sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Add all the ingredients above in a pot and cook oatmeal per package instructions. Add walnuts and chocolate chips as toppings. Enjoy with love and gratitude.
