PC: https://lumitylife.com

Goodbye coffee, hello anti-inflammatory morning nourishment.

Turmeric by itself is a rock star ingredient, I like to use it as many places as I can. Along with the ginger and cinnamon, it makes a comforting, nourishing drink. Turmeric contains a potent antioxidant called curcumin. Not only does curcumin give turmeric its bright color, it’s also one of the reasons why turmeric is such a healthy spice. According to scientific research, turmeric may help the following health concerns: (2)

  1. Bacterial infections

  2. Cancer (including breast, colon, prostate and skin cancer)

  3. Eye inflammation (such as uveitis)

  4. Heart disease

  5. Indigestion

  6. Neurodegenerative conditions (including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis)

  7. Osteoarthritis

  8. Stomach ulcers

  9. Ulcerative colitis

This magical drink has helped me wean myself off caffeine plenty of times. It's so delicious, after a few days, I didn't even crave coffee.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp of fresh grated ginger

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
