Superfood Hummus


I'm always looking for ways to sneak greens into my meals. Greens are the holy grail for energy, clear skin, anti bloating, and shrinking the waistline.

Hummus is ALWAYS in my fridge in a big ol' container.

I often use it as salad dressing to make my salads more hearty. Sometimes, I even have it for breakfast with carrots and celery. Get creative with this hummus - it will add a little something to all your meals!

INGREDIENTS:

3.5 cups of chick peas, drained

3/4 cup spinach

1/2 cup kale leaves chopped

1/4 cup tahini

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon/lime juice

2 cloves garlic

1 TBS Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/2 cup of water (maybe a bit more)

sea salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth

2. Enjoy with crips vegetables or pita chips
