Green Pina Coloda


I think I hit the jackpot with this one! I've been enjoying this smoothie everyday recently, because it just tastes SO good. It's the perfect post work out smoothie or pick me up in the middle of they day. Often when I have long days at the office, I pack one big mason jar of this and it provides me with stamina - physically and mentally to keep going all day. I like to use spinach in my smoothies because it takes on whatever flavor you give it. Even though all my smoothies look like they would taste earthy, they usually taste like whatever fruit I threw in there.

Food Facts:

Spinach helps alkalize the body, reduced inflammation, improves metabolism, and helps lower blood pressure. Pineapples are great for digestion, boosts immunity, and helps treat cough.

INGREDIENTS:

2 cup spinach (Organic is best - deadly pesticides go directly on the leaf when not organic)

1/2 cup pineapple

1 cup vanilla coconut milk (I used TJ's)

1 TBS chia seeds to top OR add in the blender

Some extra water for consistency

INSTRUCTIONS:

Blend and enjoy the same day!
